THE DESIGN PHASE
The first phase during the renovation process is the design phase, and can definitely be an “emotional peak” for both designers and clients alike. During this phase, our designers and architects collaborate to create detailed drawings and 3D renderings. This allows you to visualize your elevated space. We provide numerous design options for you to choose from, meeting with you to finalize the details and ensure the best architectural and aesthetic outcomes. Once we tailor the designs to your preferences, we enter the first emotional dip: the bidding phase.
THE BIDDING PHASE
The bidding phase can be overwhelming and time-consuming, marking our first emotional low point. Our experts collaborate with a variety of contractors such as electricians, HVAC specialists and window installers, each offering different skills and price points. This provides you with the flexibility to choose professionals that fit your scope and budget. We will guide you through every decision, making the process as smooth and effortless as possible. With bids in hand and our team selected, we’re ready to begin construction.
THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE
The construction phase is the core of the remodeling process and is typically filled with a variety of highs and lows. Breaking ground or starting demolition can be extremely exciting, but as the work progresses, the initial excitement may fade. The noise of construction from plumbing, electrical and HVAC work becomes a constant backdrop for the next few months. But once the windows are installed, and the drywall goes up, the space will start to take shape and truly come together. It’s important to note that after the drywall is installed, the process of sanding and refining the walls is both time-consuming and messy, often creating a significant amount of dust—marking the lowest point on our renovation rollercoaster.
